Custom Identification Product Materials
At IntelliCAM™, we can engrave, etch, fabricate, and print on various materials, including metals, plastics, polycarbonate, vinyl, and traffolyte. All our materials for product identification are suitable for demanding industrial environments, with each carrying its own set of benefits.
- Aluminum: Aluminum is a lightweight metal with chemical, corrosion, and temperature resistance. It is durable with good workability. Metalphoto® is a special type of photosensitive anodized coating that is abrasion-, corrosion-, fire-, and UV-resistant. Aluminum is an excellent choice for nameplates, serial plates, rating plates, and front panels.
- Brass: We use brushed brass with UV coating for identification products. It is a durable metal with chemical, heat, and spark resistance.
- Stainless Steel: Stainless steel provides high performance and resists corrosion and extreme temperatures. It is an excellent substrate for various marking techniques, including laser and chemical etching, engraving, and CNC machining.
- Engraving stock: is lightweight, chemical-resistant, and durable. Traffolyte and lamicoids provide high color contrast for face plates, ID tags, nameplates, safety signs, warning labels, and identification of buttons, switches, and panels. We also offer identification products in several flexible materials, including vinyl and Lexan polycarbonate. These are excellent for graphic overlays, labels, and other applications that require chemical resistance.
